What makes Evaco  Cookware different?


Superior Non Stick Coating

Coating technology continues to evolve. LOOK Cookware is coated inside and out with innovative, technologically advanced materials. By using nano-engineering, tiny high-tech particles bond with the coating, making it denser and smoother, to guarantee high performance over a much longer period. LOOK uses ultra-tough titanium suspended within the coating, to help form a highly durable, non-stick surface for easy cleaning.

Squeeze Cast Cookware

Molten aluminum is cast in 250 tons forges to form perfectly shaped, high density, pore-free pans, a process originated by LOOK Cookware over 50 years ago.
High accuracy steel moulds ensure that every piece has such close tolerances that the same process is now used in the aerospace industry.

Careful design means that all LOOK Cookware is manufactured with heavy bases and lighter walls, a technique which is just not possible in ordinary pressed steel and aluminum cookware. Cast iron pans are three times the weight of LOOK pans of the same size, and yet Look Cookware has outstandingly better heat distribution.


Rapid and Even Heat Distribution

LOOK Cookware is designed and manufactured to give the best possible performance-accurately machined bases ensure optimal hotplate contact and will never warp.
Unlike cast iron or stainless steel, aluminum is one of the best conductors of heat enabling precise temperature control. That’s why more expensive stainless steel cookware has an aluminum base bonded to it !
In LOOK Cookware the aluminum base is an integral part of the pan, perfect heat distribution is assured .


Ergonomic & Cool Handles
LOOK engineers have designed high-quality ergonomic phenolic handles for comfortable handling. This keeps them cool, and because they are oven safe, your cooking options are limited only by your imagination.
For roasting with a gas flame, and for gastronomic use, high-grade 18/10 steel handles are available.


Versatility
LOOK Cookware is designed for use on almost all hobs and cooking ranges, and in the oven, to !
Naturally, being made of aluminum, LOOK Cookware is not suitable for use in the microwave ovens or on induction hobs. With this exception, LOOK Cookware will give equally excellent results on any heat source.

All LOOK Cookware is completely oven-proof to 260C° / 500F° - making it so easy to bake and roast, and to brown under the grill. LOOK’s range of interchangeable clear glass lids with vented knobs is equally oven-proof.
                                                                                  Fry Pans
Available in five round sizes and one square. The steep sides of our pans increase both their flat useable area and volume capacity. Our pans are cast with bases that are approximately three times thicker than their rims. The thick bases and the superb heat-conduction of cast aluminum prevent hot-spots. Pans are sold without covers. Optional covers are available (except for No. 027 and 027M). Also available with stainless steel handles (ref. Professional series)

Saute Pans

Available in five sizes. Our standard Saute Pans offer twice the depth of our frying pans. Our Deep Saute Pan is even deeper. Grill Pan G-27

In one size only. Our Grill Pan is one of the few such pans, in aluminum, that has a flat base. Most aluminum Grill Pans are stamped from a sheet of aluminum and therefore have ridges both inside and at the base of the pan. Only a flat base, such as ours, can provide optimum heat-transfer from electric and glass-top burners. Naturally, our Grill Pan works equally well on gas stoves. The 20 ridges in our grill pan are narrowly spaced and deep enough to prevent food-contact with the grease below. Many stamped aluminum Grill Pans have shallow ridges that are spaced too far apart. Our Grill Pan is among the heaviest aluminum Grill Pans in the world. Don’t worry about its square shape. Heat is distributed evenly right to the corners and a square pan actually provides more capacity than a round one.

                                              

                                            

                                     

Sauteuses/Multi-purpose Pans

Available in four sizes. A “sauteuse” is a shallow casserole sometimes referred to as a “multi-purpose” pan. The sauteuses have two small handles and a cooking vessel that is nearly the same shape as a sauté pan. If you need a versatile pan for both cooking and serving this is the ideal choice. Covers are included. Sauteuses are hard to find in the United States, but widely used in Europe.

Sauce Pans

Available in three sizes. Sauce pans are a must in every kitchen. Whether you are preparing a delicate sauce or just boiling eggs – the sauce pan will do the job. The weights of our sauce pans are beautifully “balanced” with bases that are approximately 6 times thicker than their rims. The two smaller sizes have pouring spouts. The large size has a rim that is designed for pouring. Covers are included.

Stir Fry Pans.

Available in one size with a choice of either two short or long/short handles. For tableside cooking we recommend the model with two short handles. For stovetop use we recommend the long/short handle version. Their flat bases make these pans ideal for both stir frying and sautéing. Sold without covers. Optional covers are available.

Oval Roaster-Casseroles

Available in two sizes. Old fashioned shapes in state-of-the-arts construction. Our Roaster-Casseroles are among the largest sizes in the LOOK assortment. Many oval roasters are just designed for oven-work. Ours are designed to work both in the oven and on the stove. The oval shape is more space-efficient for roasts, turkeys and chicken than a round pot (when was the last time you saw a round turkey?).
